June 20, 2011; AARP says that social security is broke. "World economic crisis over fears that Greece will default on its debt!" At the beginning of the crisis some reporters mostly from academia reported that the real problem in Greece was that a large part of the wealthy parts of the population have manage to set up systems of evading all taxes to the Greek Government. They postulated that Greece could never meets its financial obligation unless these wealthy folk began to pay their fair share of the taxes. Strangely, in 2011 no one is talking about the rich not paying taxes. They are focused on how the Greek politicians are refusing to adopt an austerity plan or how all of Europe might have to come to the aid of the economy in Greece. This week, June 2011, the AARP in the USA announced that it would "concede that social security must be reformed in order to save it. This means that there is a world wide attack on the poor and working folk because there is no one or organization that is strong enough to say or stand for reforming the tax system so that everyone pays their fair share of taxes. The media message is so pervasive that even advocacy groups are now capitulating to putting the same lipstick on the pig that infers that governments cannot afford to have safety nets for its people. May 3, 2011 Osama Bin Laden is killed!   Ummmm; let me understand this; the USA has satellites that can read a license plate on the ground; the USA keeps current estimates of the military power of all nations; yet a million dollars military type compound could be built near the Pakistani Military Academy without the knowledge of the USA? And, let us ask would Bin Laden a smart man ever build such a structure unless he had assurances from all parties that he could live out his life at this location? The parties that Bin Laden would have to have asked for assurances would first be the USA, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and maybe even India. What if President Bush agreed to this and all other parties said Okay with me if it is okay with you then and only then would Bin Laden go ahead and build his mansion knowing he was safe. Even now, everyone including media is claiming Pakistan had to have given Bin Laden some support system but no one is asking if President Bush made a deal to let Bin Laden live as a deal with Saudi Arabia and his oil buddies. Wednesday, November 3, 2010 the election is now over and the amazing has happened. The media and politician were able to create a gazillion euphemisms for hatred of President Obama because of race that the dictionary should have to be expanded. That is not new since we know that these same folk have used labels such as "social conservatives" in lieu of the real label of racist or homophobe. The amazing phenomenon is in 2010 the media and politician could get poor minimum wage white folk to vote for candidates who advocated abolishing the minimum wage, abolishing social security, and ending unemployment insurance. That is amazing when folk Black or white will vote that overtly against their own best interest just because they do not want to have a President of color. Go Figure: I saw a list of accomplishments of the Obama Administration and the list is very long and very impressive. Yet, there are politician around the country who can actually get elected by boasting about how much they oppose President Obama; you go figure please!

Saturday, May 01, 2010 What a catastrophic tragedy for the people in the Gulf of Mexico along the coast of the southern states of the United States where the oil is drifting in from the sunken drilling platform?  What in the world will all of the people who are dependant upon fishing and the seafoods industry do when the oil saturates the marshlands where all the seafoods live?  One would imagine that the boat owners and processors who hire most of the local folk will have their reimbursements from British Petroleum. But what will happen to all of the local poor Black working folk who will be out of work for years while the bay in contaminated? We know that the whites in the coastal States are not known for kindness towards Blacks from the stories of the Black school kids who got jail time for sitting under a tree reserved for Whites only. Well, I happened to be watching a story on CNN on May 1, 2010 and they showed that most of the workers in the seafood industry are immigrants from southeast Asia. You know the Blacks worked the sugarcane fields and the cotton fields for generations; how can it be that the whole seafood industry has to import immigrants? If you wonder like I do and you know the history of US labor, exploitation, and capitalism, and the southern strategy you can now understand the hostility in these States to Hispanics and Blacks in this region; labor from these groups are not needed as much as it once was; historically you know that deposed labor is scorned and despised.  The underlying reasoning for importing southeast Asian immigrants is that Hispanic and Blacks tends to stay, register, and vote; they could upset the balance of power while these Asians will and must go home when the work is over. Monday, January 05, 2009: Let me understand this now, Israel is bombarding the Gaza Strip with all of the high powered air and ground weapons supplied by the US. The bad folk in the Gaza Strip are throwing home made rockets that rarely hit anything and the children are throwing rocks at Israel. The US Ambassador to the UN has vetoed every resolution asking Israel to stop killing women and children in the Gaza Strip. President Bush says, "Israel has the right to defend it self." Does anyone believe that this is self defense? Does anyone think that after over fifty years of blockading, humiliating, starving, and abusing Palestinians that bombing them now is going to settle anything? Do we, US citizen ever intend to forbid our tax dollars from being spent this way? If so, you need to contact your congressman. Ask him or her to Go figure! Thursday, March 04, 2010: The auto industry and particularly GM are asking for a loan or some form of financial taxpayer help to keep from going bankrupt. The corporate own monopolistic media, CNN & others, and the Republican Party are very upset and against this because they say, "GM pays its workers too much." You do not hear this group who are opposed to helping GM screaming about excessive executive pay or a Wall Street firm who took taxpayers money and is now paying $13,000,000,000.(thirteen billion) in Xmas bonuses to executives. These Republicans are the same folk who say six billion dollars is too much to pay to insure every child in America. How can they be saying it is OKAY to pay one hundred or so executives thirteen billion dollars for Xmas, but it is wrong to save one out of ten worker jobs in America or insure children? Go Figure:
Presidential candidate Barrack Obama is having a positive effect even before the election. I live in South Carolina and I believe some of the heretofore pride in flying the Confederate flag is diminishing. Obama won South Carolina in spite of the Clinton's attempts to inject race into the campaign. The Clintons believed like most that South Carolina is the heart of the southern racism core in America. There is a restaurant chain in South Carolina that sells its own brand of barbeque sauce who chose to forfeit a lot of money over the last ten years by flying the Confederate flag. All of their restaurants had the Confederate flags flying above the American flag out front. Yesterday, I past one of their restaurants and they did not have their Confederate flag flying. They only had the American flag flying.  It could be that the recent storms took their flag. It could be that they forgot to put up their flag. It could be that they are testing what happens to business if they stop flying the Confederate flag. In any case, I also noticed that some of my neighbors have stopped flying their Confederate flags. I think that this might be the effects of Obama-economics or Politics-Obama that is having an effect. I know that screaming and protesting did not get the Confederate flags down. Could it be that positive and persuasive talk of the greatness of America to get beyond race is working better? Go figure.

In the summer months of 2008 the US military announced that a division of soldiers from Iraq are being assigned to the UNITED STATES! Now, we have all been told how stretched thin the military is and how badly troops are needed in Afghanistan. Why then would it be so important to assign a division of troops to the US? These troops are trained in "crowd control and citizen uprisings." Given the grand theft of $700,000,000 to bail out Wall Street, do you think the military knows something that makes us be in need of troops in the US? THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN AMERICAN HISTORY THAT MILITARY TROOPS HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED TO THE US!  GO FIGURE?

As Richard Hepworth, a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the USA military, retired, put it: "George Bush is Dead wrong about Iraq.  The president has squandered the military in this misguided adventure."  Yet, because so many already rich people and corporations are making so much money from this war, and the U. S. is financing pipelines for oil companies through these war torn areas, George Bush is going to ask the children of the poor and middle class to keep dieing until these pipeline are built and Bush can install puppet governments in the area who will help protect the oil companies.  Go Figure? The major media outlets will just go along promoting Bush and the war because they get contracts and advertising dollars from the government and the corporation who make money on war.  Go figure!  PLEASE HELP STOP THIS WAR . . . HELP SAVE OUR CHILDREN FROM DIEING FOR OIL.
